Theme
In this Þorrablót, we honor the Northern Lights as we will be dancing the night away with a vivid demonstration of Magic.
Entertainment
Music and other entertainment provided by the local Icelandic band SourBalls, with special guests Eyþór Ingi, an Icelandic Megastar, and the great local Washingtonian Savanna Woods, from The Voice. The wonderful Erna Rós Kristinsdóttir will host our event as emcee.
Food
We're proud to provide unique and traditional Icelandic fare, including Svið (boiled sheep’s head), Hákarl (fermented shark), Hangikjöt (smoked lamb), and much more such as authentic Icelandic lamb roast with all the trappings. Be sure to bring your appetite!
Together, we raise our glasses to celebrate: “We made it through another winter! Have faith, and springtime is almost here!”
This year‘s event will be held at the beautiful new Nordic Museum in Ballard, and we hope to see you all there. And feel free to bring friends!
